GED+ Ed Tech
The Sankofa Global Project reaches the root of gender and racial diversity, and promotes inclusionary practices that give underrepresented communities the tools to thrive in a diverse and thriving tech ecosystem.
The specific barriers that keep high school equivalency recipients (and those that are underemployed) from pursuing entrepreneurship are inadequate resources and limited access to professional learning communities.
The Sankofa Global Project’s GED+ Ed Tech Program is an innovative venture for individuals who are in a GED program or have completed their GED. The GED+ Ed Tech Program is in partnership with the My Brother’s Keeper initiative, Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation, Collab Fabrication Lab & Innovation Studio, and Con Edison.
