S.T.E.A.M. Leadership Consulting

In February 2016, The Obama Administration announced the creation of new STEM and entrepreneurship tracks within My Brother's Keeper — steps that build on the ongoing work of the Council on Women and Girls to ensure opportunities in STEM education throughout the workforce pipeline.

The President also highlighted the growing community of education, business, and nonprofit leaders who have responded to his State of the Union call to give every child the opportunity to learn computer science (CS), as well as his overall “Educate to Innovate” campaign to ensure all students have the tools to be innovators and problem- solvers.

The education programs that Tracy Gray, Founder of The LeiLyn Group and The Sankofa Global Project, submitted in response to President Obama's Call to Action was selected as a first cohort of organizations that are stepping up with their own independent commitments inspired by MBK that will help expand STEM opportunities, including for traditionally underrepresented minorities.

The LeiLyn Group enhances student achievement through teacher training and preparation, program development, education policy and systemic reform. The LeiLyn Group partners with stakeholders in middle schools, high schools, colleges, universities and community based organizations to develop programs that will empower tomorrow's STEM workforce. Our partnerships and collective work will give this generation of students access to pivotal educational, global, and career opportunities in S.T.E.A.M.

The LeiLyn Group brings science, technology, engineering, art & math (S.T.E.A.M.) to students everywhere. Tracy Gray, Founder & President, believes that achieving mission and vision will require collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication.
